Cypress Ridge Pool

Recently, there has been unacceptable behavior at the pool.The follwing are the pool rules. We ask that all residents strictly adhere to the policy. If anyone sees any persons around or in the pool area after hours please contact the police.

Cypress Ridge Pool Rules and Regulations
May 1st until September 30th
PLEASE NOTE * Cypress Ridge Homeowners Association may revoke the use
privileges of any property owner(s) for a specified period of time for noncompliance
with any of the published rules for the use of the common area facilities,
whether due to a negligent, deliberate or willful act or behavior. Any and all
penalties will be determined by the HOA for these acts or behavior or for any act of
vandalism by a homeowner, a minor or a guest of a property owner. The
sponsoring property owner shall be responsible for the actions of their family or
guest and may lose his or her privileges or will be charged for any and all damages.
**All homeowners are PROHIBITED from propping the gate to the pool open at
ANY time, propping it open to use the restroom, or allowing homeowners who do
not have a key access to the pool area. Any of these actions WILL result in having
your key card de-activated.
WHO CAN USE THE POOL
The pool is provided for the enjoyment of homeowners and their accompanied guests.
All assessments must be paid in full in order to have access to the pool. Pool use is
denied until dues have been paid. Additionally, any outstanding fines must be paid in
order to use the pool. Guests are limited to three (3) non-residents for each household.
An adult is described as being 18 years of age or older. Children under the age of 15
and all guests must at all times be accompanied by an adult homeowner whose
assessments are current. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult to
the restrooms. PETS will not be allowed within the fenced area surrounding the pool.
POOL HOURS ARE 8:00 AM TO 9:00 PM or dark, whichever occurs first during
the swimming season. The pool will be closed EVERY Tuesday for cleaning.
THE POOL AREA IS TO BE A REASONABLY PEACEFUL AND RELAXING
ENVIRONMENT FOR THE ENJOYMENT OF ALL RESIDENTS.
NO RUNNING OR ROUGH-HOUSING
No running or rough housing in the pool and clubhouse areas. SUPERVISION OF
CHILDREN by parents and/or accompanying adult is necessary for safety and to prevent
damage to the facility and the pool area equipment. Homeowners are responsible for
damages caused by their children or guests.
NO NIGHT SWIMMING ALLOWED BY DHEC (Department of Health and
Environmental Control).
NO DIVING ALLOWED.

NO SMOKING ALLOWED.
NO GLASS CONTAINERS of any kind are allowed in the pool area.
NO DRUGS, FIREARMS OR PROFANITY are allowed in the pool or cabana areas.
There will be no exceptions to these rules and regulations. Any fine by DHEC shall be
assessed to the violating party.
SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK
Neither the Association, the Developer, nor Community Management Group assumes
responsibility or liability for loss, injury, accident or death. No diving is permitted!
ENTRANCE TO THE POOL
Entrance is through the gate only! Please do not slam the gate as this damages the lock.
Swinging on the gate or climbing over the gate or the fence is prohibited.
PROPER CLOTHING
Proper clothing and swim diapers are at all times required for infants and small children
while in the pool. Diapers are not to be deposited in the waste cans at the facility and
MUST be removed from the site when you depart. Proper swimwear for children AND
adults is required in the family recreational area.
CLEAN UP
Please clean up after yourself, your children and guests, and respect the pool facilities and
property. Please close umbrellas after use. All trash must be placed in the trash
receptacles provided. Any property damage due to the fault of, negligence by a member,
member’s family, or guests must be replaced at the member’s expense. Any damage
should be reported to Community Management Group.
POOL CLOSURE
Signs will be posted notifying members of any pool closing and these closings MUST be
obeyed. The pool will be closed on the same day each week for cleaning and chemical
treatments. The gate will be locked for safety purposes. Members will NOT be allowed to
swim in the pool on these days.
UNSANITARY CONDITIONS
Unsanitary conditions such as when defecation is released in the pool require an
immediate closing of the pool. Call Community Management Group (795-8484) to
report an incident immediately. The pool will remain closed until DHEC certifies it is
safe. Swimming is prohibited by those persons with infectious skin diseases such as
chicken pox, measles, etc., person with open wounds or skin rashes. All bathers must use
the shower before entering the pool.

TELEPHONE USE, LIFE PRESERVERS AND BODY HOOKS
The pool equipment is for emergency and maintenance use and is not to be used as toys.
The pool phone does not require money to dial 911.
POOL TOYS
Pool toys such as balls and rafts should be used with consideration for others.
RADIOS/MUSIC
Radios/Music should not disturb other pool guests or residents in close proximity to the
pool complex.
BICYCLES
Wheeled vehicles, with the exception of wheelchairs and baby strollers are not permitted
in the fenced pool area. Skateboards and roller blades are to be left parked outside the
fenced area surrounding the swimming pool but not blocking the gate or walkway.
Bicycles are to be placed in the provided bike rack.
PARKING
Parking is limited to the paved parking area by the pool. Cars parked on the grass or on
the roadway in a manner that is deemed to be a hazard may be towed at the homeowner’s
expense.
REPLACEMENT OF A LOST GATE/BATHROOM KEY
Lost keys are replaceable through Community Management Group. There is a $50.00
charge for replacing a key card. A pool key card will only be provided to homeowners
who are current in their annual HOA dues. Fines must be paid in order to keep a pool
key active or for it to be issued. Each homeowner will only be issued one key (This is
due to the size of the system and the maximum number of keys that can be entered.)
I/we, the undersigned, agree to abide by all of the above listed Rules & Regulations
for the Cypress Ridge Pool and Amenity Center. I/we understand that the
Association may revoke our privileges for a non-specified period of time for noncompliance
of these rules.
